With the occasional exception of the insomniac Sasquatch, Burlyman, I am often left to ponder my thoughts and tweak my heli all alone with only the company of the idiots at RCG (JustPlaneChris not withstanding) and the clueless Limeys at HeliGuy.

Isn't anybody here at least on the west coast? It's only like 10 or 11 o'clock there when I get home from work. I can't be the only loser with an evening job, can I? This is the only forum that I consider "fun". All the others are the same old "my heli is drifting left" type stuff.

Wahh, wahh, my ***** hurts... I know - get a life (wife?) and a real job. But, but... damn.

Divorced + grounded heli + beer = ranting post. Sorry. Even half-drunk, I challenge you to find a typo in my posts. Yes, I'm a grammar-Nazi.

Come on, 6am. At least Doogie posts then...

I shouldn't have left my bass at the drummer's house...

I'm on the west coast and yes, all you hear are crickets in the evening. I feel like I'm working the Esky forum night shift.

changed my mind again 'bout the paint scheme, kicking ideas around, here's what i had done over the weekend, then sunday night changed it agian...stock canopy still in work, align almost there, modified the align, shorting it, and opened the vents much larger and placed screens over the openings...made new fins and painted 'em, working on the stock fins...

I was going to say that I like it. I'm not a big fan of red, but that looks pretty good. I'm tired of my white heli and didn't really want to go to the Esky yellow. I was thinking of adding some color to the white with stickers or trim tape. I'd be worried that paint would chip since the plastic flexes so much.

What paint did you use? I noticed the Krylon in the background. How does it hold up?

Krylon Fusion- for plastics, works pretty good, does flex with the plastic, light passes between coats, if you decide to change colors, best strip the old first, will get the crackle affect if you don't...hard to kind other colors, oringinally wanted safety orange and yellow, but my have to order directly from Krylon for them
