DROID,
This is a reply that I posted to a similar question asked about 6 month ago. Please tell me where you see the price as being to high.

I have owened an X-treme for about a month now. I have waited to post any type of comment till I had some real flight time on the machine.
Let me help you from making a mistake. There is nothing wrong with the Trex 600n but when its all said and done it is nothing more than a up-graded Raptor. (By the way I fly both the Trex and Raptor) The X-Treme is lighter. I have scaled the Raptor and the X-treme same gear on both. Raptor is at 7 1/2 lb X-treme at 7 1/4 lb. and as every one already knows the Trex is slightly heavier than the Raptor.
Another thing, of the major frame components the X-treme has 3 plastic the boom holders and the belt drive gear which is up gradable to alum. Look at the Trex and compare all the standard parts that come with it and all the ones that come with the X-treme.
Besides the tail belt gear there is no other upgrade. Go and price the up grades on the Trex? The X-treme is in the long run a better buy. I have seen the X-treme flown by a well known pilot and he was impressed. There are videos to prove the air worthiness of the X-treme. Finally if you have questions or problems with the X-treme you can call RJX of USA and Rusty will be there for you. That is how I got hooked up with the X-treme. Give it a try, call him and talk to him you will be satisfied with the results. Who will you call if you have a problem or question with Align products, Fr... only on Fridays. Those who have done it know what I'm talking about.

RjX 50 and 90

Hello,
As most of you know I'm the RjX distributor in the US,RjX of USA has been selling the RjX brand of helis in the US for about three yrs now IE Hurrican 50, Xtreme 50 and now we will bring the 90 Xtreme in after the testing is complete and only after I get one in my hands to test myself, after all this has been done to our satisfactory then RjX of USA will bring the 90 in.
I'm a hobbiest as all of you, I love this hobby just for what it's for..... "FUN" ..... and will continue to as long as I can Our machines are manufactured in China by a hobbiest himself and yes has done as so many other manufactures have in past yrs. Built, tested and taken the best ideas from all the top contending machines on the market, this process allowed him to end up with a RC Helicopter line up that features all those collected designs and put them into our Xtreme 50/90 machines making them a work of art.
The pricing speaks for itself,IE (in line with todays market) although you might have to do a little calculations to see in the long run you will save money getting everything out of the box, and a light , awesome flying machine.
For those who have and will come aboard with us we welcome you and hope to be able to meet you guys in person at the events and enjoy flying with you. Those who decide the RjX line is not for you ..... Well, thats your right and we hope you will one day just try your buddies Xtreme out, you might feel different after flying it.
The main thing is we continue to help each other in this great hobby to progress it in a direction we can all benefit from, compitition is a good thing for all of us. At RjX of USA we feel we are all in this hobby together.
If anyone would like to ask any questions about the machines, or how I handle our customer relations please email me at rjxofusa@myway.com or see our website for a phone number and I would be very glad to talk to you. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. RjX of USA

DROID your opinions have no credibility.

You HEARD that the hardware is soft.

Have you actually seen or flown an Xtreme 50 or are you just posting BS & hearsay on the forum.
Dude you need to get off your computer and get some experience before any further posts!
Please, pretty please, pretty please with sugar on top, base your posts on knowledge that you have, and not hearsay.

I have also been in contact with owners in the uk and have discussed certain issues, well after this evening i have been in contact with Frank and he assures me that all the said issues have been sorted now, the only thing that puts me off the kit now is price.

All i've left to say is good luck RJX with your 90 project.

Couldn't let it go could you guys.....

Rather than spend my hard earned money on crap i ask opinions of people i trust in the hobby. Those that i trust who own or owned the model mentioned gave me the reasons not to buy one. Got caught out once before, not prepared to plough money into fertilizer again. My opinions are my opinions no-one has to listen. Seems like another side of the forum where criticism is unwelcome.
Forums are for discussion, you can't have discussion if everyone has the same opinion.

Looks like you need to go to some other thread and share "Your Opinion" because it dosen't look like anyone here agrees with you or wants to hear it.
No offense, but I love my Xtreme and it doesn't have any issues or soft parts, and I own and fly one toboot. seems only those who have flown the Xtreme really understands the differance. enjoy

I'm not sure how every person term parts as soft.
If i crash my heli, i would expect the parts to take the impact and bend or break. but isn't that just a nature of things?

I'll take a broken part over a stress fracture anyday.

Dear Droid its quite obvious to me that you really live up to your name some sort of device programmed with other peoples thoughts. I wonder where we all would be if we lived on hearsay.
Personally I have two RJX Helicopters to which I have no complaints on any. I have found that RJX are a company willing to listen and try to improve the product on input from us the customer,so why are you saying they need to improve there product when you dont even own one. PS Alter your programming and get a life

I cannot speak for anyone else or the experience they have had or whether they are 100% accurate or not. With the exception of stripping a maingear, I have had nothing but many great flights with no wear to speak of through 8 or 9 gallons now. Any questions I had were very quickly and respectfully responded to and brought directly to the manufacturer by Rusty. I cannot say enough good about RjX of USA and the X-treme 50. I dont know any of the other guys on the forum and do not fly as a rep for RjX, just wanted to post MY unbiased opinion of the machine and customer service here after what seems like may be alot of speculation. I hope enough pilots get a chance to fly this heli and see for themselves.

Anyway if you leave the comments at me out i'll leave you to your wonderful helicopter, enjoy.

With reference to Andy's comment's AKA 'DROID'.

I for one know Andy very well, and rest assured he would only ever make a comment based on 'Fact' from personal experience, and information passed on from 'trusted' sources.

I can also vouch for the fact that the information his comments were based (which he made clear) were not only true, but also passed to me from the same source.

That being a 100% trusted retailer, of whom neither i or droid would mention publicly.

Everything mentioned was true and the feedback from the supplier was nothing short of 'carefree'.

After talking to two sponsored pilot's, it's apparent that the OEM are aware of the criticism, and i could only hope that they 'think' again and perhaps look at constructive feedback on a more positive note.

At least i hope so, as i would like the extreme for myself.

From what i understand, there has been slight revisions in certain components ever since the first batch. I'm flying one of the recent batch without problems though.

Why couldn't someone have just said that in the first place without all the personal conflict?

You know i've far more respect for a manufacturer that puts it's hands in the air and says " Yes, we HAD a problem and it's now been sorted"

hey guys

in droids defense i am one of the sponsered pilots hes ben discussing the model with, reason i been advising him against it was at the time of our convo is the quality of some of the parts wernt tht good on the model that i had received for the price the model is selling at and granted they may have been changed out for new designs, materials etc but if this is the case i have not been informed of any of the proposed changes in the model and havnt had the chance to switch some of my parts which i would say are sub standard especially the main blade grip arms which bend in flight in my case!

thanks Adam

Remember crashing is stupid and you could end up crying in front of your friends!

Hi Boony,

Aa a pilot of the Xtreme at least your opinion has some credibility.

However are you sure that you managed to bend the blade holder arms in flight? It seems a little improbable as the arm is connected to a mixer lever which in turn is connected to a 2mm push rod, it seems far more plausable that if you were really putting so much strain on the heli you would bend the push rod before you bent the arm. May i be bold enough to suggest that perhaps you damaged the arm in an accident but didn't realise till later.

I have over 100 flights on my Xtreme and although I am not the most "extreme" 3D pilot I have still to do any damage to any component in flight.

I have had some VERY hard crashes and always found the heli very resiliant.

I would thoroughly recommend the Xtreme to any pilot, and no I'm not sponsored and have no links to the company, but I have always found the U.K. distributor more than helpful.

I have also been flying helis for over 9 years and owned many different types of helis. I have 6 machines that are airworthy at the moment and many more in the attic, however I still find myself only ever flying my Xtreme.
What more can I say?
