| Well the 600n is coming along, today I fired it up and got her hovering, I guess I did a half decent job setting up the head cause it didn't need any trimming and the blades are tracking perfect from the get go. I have one last bug to work out, in fact I think I may have solved it but do to the rain haven't been able to test it. I'm runnin a logictech 6100t gyro with accompanying servo and the tail is wagging, didn't have a problem with it on the raptor. It wags at all gain settings on both HH and standard mode. My one problem is I forgot all about the stepdown for the tail servo. So I accidentally was runnin it at 6 volts. Yikes!! Hope I didn't do any permanent damage. I made my own step down wire, just a diode in line on the red wire. Its now delivering 4.9 volts. So all is well. As I said I haven't had a chance to test if I fixed the wagging. However, what are your opinions? Do you think that at 6v it was over driving the servo and making it like its on crack and constantly twitching. Or do I still have a problem.............Man the rain is annoying or I could answer the question myself |
