Thanks for the tips guys next time it's someone else turn to be guinea pig of the day. Sounds like I missed a good show last sunday. Here's an idea, what about posting the vids on youtube or google videos? I know it's work but hey, do it for the people

Dont post them there. I have more then enough space for a few Web encoded HD videos on my site. Get them to me and i will host them.
Sorry i missed the last 2 weekends. I was busy working on the Joker 2. For those that i met my first time out know my joker is for AP, and i have been pushing the last 2 weeks to finish a new prototype front mount for it. I'll be out the next nice weekend however with the knight and the joker in hand.

I am chunking them down from 1440X1080i @ 15MB/s to 1440X1080i 1024kB/s for a youtube experiement. At 640X480 they look like fecal matter. I am looking for the best format to convert the videos into, then I will post links.

Alrighty the 600n is all back together, received the blades in the mail. I have two sets of woodies and a carbon fiber set, all mavrikks. Ya ya I know mavrikks are on the bottom of the food chain but hey I plan on crashing.

I balanced the blades, put them on and then 90ed everything at zero pitch. I set the pitch +-11 degrees in idle up. What do you suggest for a throttle curve? 100 45 100 ?

I plan on getting a TJ Revmax later.

Well a couple weeks ago I totally mangulated my rex 450se, got all the parts and rebuilt it but haven't dialed in the head yet.........................mission number 2.

When i wasn't running a gov in my knight 3d's this was my throttle curve

Normal: 0 50 100
Stunt 1: 90 50 90
Stunt 2: 100 65 100

I rarely fly in normal or stunt 1.

Well the 600n is coming along, today I fired it up and got her hovering, I guess I did a half decent job setting up the head cause it didn't need any trimming and the blades are tracking perfect from the get go. I have one last bug to work out, in fact I think I may have solved it but do to the rain haven't been able to test it.
I'm runnin a logictech 6100t gyro with accompanying servo and the tail is wagging, didn't have a problem with it on the raptor. It wags at all gain settings on both HH and standard mode. My one problem is I forgot all about the stepdown for the tail servo. So I accidentally was runnin it at 6 volts. Yikes!! Hope I didn't do any permanent damage. I made my own step down wire, just a diode in line on the red wire. Its now delivering 4.9 volts. So all is well. As I said I haven't had a chance to test if I fixed the wagging. However, what are your opinions? Do you think that at 6v it was over driving the servo and making it like its on crack and constantly twitching. Or do I still have a problem.............Man the rain is annoying or I could answer the question myself

I have DVDs created. I am having issues with a streamable format. I don't think youtube is going to work.

Hello, Mike. Try moving the tail servo horn ball link in one hole (closer to the center) and that may solve the problem. It is a quick thing to try, and is a common adjustment for new heli's. After you make this adjustment, be careful to lift off the ground slowly to be safe.

Out the window (no pun intended).

I'm done with flying in February. This wind is ridiculously relentless, and the gusts don't help. I'll be simulate'n.
