e-Minicopter Joker > Joker 2 blade sizes

All,

I've done a few searches regarding blade sizes on a joker 2 but I want to be sure so I'll ask my question straight forward. I want to run 12S on a joker 2 using my FP 6S 5000mAh packs (X2), Actro 24-5 motor and a Power Jazz 63V esc. What are the largest blades (for lift) both main and tail I could run on this bird stock. I think the answer is 710 mains and 120 tail but I'd like to hear from those with more experiance.

i run 720 v-blades and 105 tail blades.
i wouldn't go any larger then 110mm for the tail, 120 i believe is maxi joker size.

AP work, because its for AP i can get away with a little longer main blade and tail blade.

For 3d i wouldn't go over 105mm for the tail, no real reason too anyways on the joker 2, and for the mains 680-700mm would be great, v-blades 690's would work really well.

690 radix with even stocks on the tail is sick 3D, i honestly cant speak for AP, as i am a 3daholic, and IMO people really sleep on the joker series for 3D which is unfortunate.

Thanks all for the info. I'm looking to do more sport flight then serious 3D. Possible moving into AP work in the future. My main concern is getting good lift with the twin FP 6S 5000mAh batteries the ship will need to carry.

The stock blades are 700. anything up to 720 will work well. Try and choose a blade with neutral lead lag to get best performance and predictable behaviour in fast forward flight.

I have tried stock blades and razor 710s but did not like the performance (too much ballooning in the hover). Radix work well. Don't worry performance on 12s 5000 will be very good with descent flight times as well. 105mm tail blades.

i've been using 2x 6s 5k tanic packs with the setup mentioned below and it goes up like a rocket ship, my father gets about 8 minuttes of sport/mild 3d, and I get 6ish mintutes of hardcore 3D.
