I`m looking for a Battery Pack for my Maxi Joker, it is a 10-12c , 7500 mah 5 cells p 18.5 v, I bought two batterys about A year ago but one cought fire, so I need another one to match that one I have.

Found it yesterday and its a great price, but they only have 1 at this price I think. Maxamps.com is another resource. That is where I'm getting mine. Everyone I've heard of who uses maxamps packs loves them. The guy is up in washington, good guy who stands by his product, so pretty quick shipping for ya as well. Good luck.

Not sure you should do that Ticopage. Cells batterie have to live and die together. If you plug in serial a brand new 5cells with your one year old 5S, the risk of unbalancing is too high. Because they can't discharge at the same time.
The same reason you can't repair a lipo batterie when a cell died.

Sell your 5s and buy 2 new x 5s or a new 10s. IMHO...

If you match up a new pack even if it's the same brand as the original you''l likely have some serious troubles on the frist flight. Like maybe a runaway with the older pack since it's internal resistence will be higher than the new pack.

Not a good idea at all.

I thought you were selling your maxi joker.
You have to have matched sets if you dont you risk puffing them or worse. Mine are numbered and I keep a battery log book for each one and each set nothing fancy. Sell the orphan pack in the classifeds and get a new set. Yep its expensive, the way it is. If you dont have a balancer get one. Why did the other pack catch fire?
