| I have made some further observations on the updating of the channels when using an R617FS rx. Just as we are told by the TM-14 instruction sheet, channels 1-4 are a group and channels 5-7 are a group (yes, it says 5-8 but this is a 7-ch rx). No surprise there. But, what I observed is that due to the asynchronous nature of the system, it is possible for either a) all the channels to be updated from one rx output frame to the next, b) channels 1-4 to lead by one frame, or c) channels 5-7 to lead by one frame.
Below are logic analyzer screen shots showing each of these scenarios.

Interestingly, I cannot observe this behaviour when using the R617FS with the 7C 2.4.
