Has anyone actually used both? I know Gerd initially said the max would be something like 1-2 percent more efficient, but I haven't seen any reports. I've got a regular 32-4 on my mj2, and was just curious is anyone has used the max.

Rhett... There's no power like E Power!

I;ve had both and I can't honestly say I noticed a difference between them.

I've had both also, but never did back-to-back comparisons because I didn't have them at the same time.

If I remember Gerd's comments correctly he said you could notice a slight difference with the Max being a bit stronger. It's certainly not a large difference.

The only physical difference as Gerd explained it was that the standard used like 5 strands of 18G wire per wrap and the Maxi like 8 of 22G. Dont' remember the exact #s. More strands more surface area better electron flow. The Max also weighs a teence more since the wires beeing smaller fill the gaps better so you end up with a slightly more copper.

It's hard to improve much on an already excellent motor
