Henseleit 3DNT - Rocket - 3DMP > Anyone using ubec and spektrum on 3DMP-E

Finally got my 3DMP-E these birds are something. I just purchased a used 3DMP and was thinking about converting from sep. lipo rec. bat. to a sep. bec? and a Spektrum DR7? Anyone else using this set-up? Any proublem with going with sep. bec if I use the glitch-free DR7?

trust me ...there is nothing special or specific about the 3dmp where you'd have to worry about using a BEC and DX7 ...there are a million people using this combo flawlessly...personally I like to run a seperate rx pack but hey...if you want to run a UBEC there is nothing to worry about..

If you decide to run a UBEC..get the 5a HV Hercules ubec...it's the best one out there in my opinion...

Make sure the one you choose puts out enough amps. 3 is not enough IMO

I am using Spektrum and a rx pack but I am soon going to switch to a BEC. I am not wooried in the least...Ron

I use the Kool Flight UBEC. They have worked well for me. They are good for up to 45 volts and 3-5 amps. Plus they are $43 and easy to find. If I were to go to a higher voltage BEC, I think I would try the Western Robotics one........Ron
