Some find the control lever mounting method a bit lacking, this extra crossmember stiffen it up quite a bit. Just remember to apply plenty of loctite if you're using the stock screw as it no longer has the locknut to hold it down. Alternatively, find a long enough screw so it can really bite the threads in the crossmember. If there's any excessive freeplay on the control lever, simply add some 3mm spacers or washers to get rid of it.
The crossmember clears the hex starter adaptor nicely, no rubbing or contact there.
This is the new upgrade cnc control lever mount.
A great upgrade in my opinion, i'll be installing mine soon with the cnc control lever, and also use the crossmember as mentioned above to achieve the best stiffening effect. |
