flew gas for a few yrs and sold all my gas stuff so looking to lessen the mess/hassle and do the back yard thing.....that being, I have a bare bones Mx 450 on the way with metal upgrades head/tail..........the thought was for only $60 I can get the mx 400 and use it for parts.... Ive seen several models of this model and wondering if all helimax interechange

mx400

hey, I have one and like it. hovers real steady but problems are
1. weak centre plastic hub
2. canopy hard to fit

align parts except the main gear(150 teeth compared to 138 teeth) fit

but you have all mettal head so you don't need to worry bout #1

save your money, the 450 is all metal, has eccpm collective pitch, and many upgrades, the 400 for 59.99 at tower is a great price but its all plastic and would be a down grade to your 450. even the 400 pro does not have near the upgrades as the 450, just buy another 450 for parts, at only 149.99 you cant go wrong
