I believe it is now illegal.

I think firing rockets from any model aircraft is not allowed by the AMA any longer? Once upon a time I used to do it, but i believe they have changed their rules recently in light of all the terrorist activity.

Well, just make sure you have a fire ext. near by. the rockets got a kick, i fire it in parking lots where there is no grass. be safe.

Well, today was the first time for the Bird, man it looks good in the air, only problems I had was coling the engine enough and that the original shuttle muffler just wodn't hold together, coling problem was solved and also the muffler got a fix and now its ready again for new missions, im running on 55cm gfk blades that are a bit heavy but in time I will change to carbon fibre blades, also having in mind to put some scalelight in to the fuse!

Little bird fuse Ah 6
Shuttle plus mechs
TT 39 powersource
Futaba 3001 on every position
Futaba Gy 240
World models 55cm Gfk blades
Futaba 7 ch ppm reciever

Not a hard work at all,simply made a hole underneath the fuse just belove the engine so the hole engine, cylinder incl get air, works great!

Judging thru how many post there has been about this bird converted
with Hawk's mechs it should not be a problem, I have a Shuttle plus in mine with minimal mods to the mech, a TT 39 are lifting it all up!!
