I'm working on a Little Bird as we speak. Venture 30 mech. OS 37 tonight I'm finishing the tail rotor control rod installation. I have 4 police helis 4 rescue helis and 3 Vietnam versions. If you keep a look out for them you can find them in stores. A friend of mine found 4 police versions at $20 a piece for me. Whats great about these helis is they can be painted anyway you want.

You can beat the look of these birds with the figures in them on the ground or in the air.

No problem at all, I have used OS 32's and they flew great. I would be careful with the 46 that you don't have an over heating problem and also there is not much room for fuel and with a 46 you will have shorter flight times.
Good Luck

You should not need a 50 size engine in it this one had an OS 32 in it.

If I can haul it around with a Nexus with a OS .32, you should definately have no problem with a Raptor. The only problem is lineing up the tail with the Raptor.....have to dig a huge hole in the top of the body for clearance.

Hey,
So i have my night hawk but am wondering what are the best mechanics to get?
Engine size?
How long does it take... i'm looking to get a 50 but want to start peicing this project together lol.
I hear the nexus fits in nicely but what are spares like in the UK to get ahold of?
Has anyone crashed yet? do the fuzes hold up??

Keep the hawk's alive

Cant wait to be airborn!

Any new conversions or old ones still flying? Anyone do a step by step write up using Shuttle mechs? I have the Black Little Bird and Shuttle Plus mechs, looking for tips.

Thanks

hehe,
Just what i was thinking the other day... well nearly.
Theres a new Nexus going at a hobby store near by cheap and was thinking of starting my little bird
For the shuttle... i'm not sure about any issues you'll encounter... i would suggest dismantling your little bird and sizing it up that way and seeing how well it will fit.
I was thinking of buying the nexus and throwing it in but from what i'v heard a venture will fit in and save the cockpit.... (and it may also appear the nexus from the pictures of the rocket firing AH-6 )
I'm just wondering how hard nexus spares are to to come by, prices etc.
How well does the nexus head work in the application... oh and can you get a raptor head on there

hmmm, winter project me's thinks

Should be in the works soon and i'v been looking into the converserion for almost a year now, i think i have quiet a good idea if you want to work together on the project

PM me
