MartyH Veteran Location: Lawrenceburg, Indiana
| Well, I can't say it was an ideal location but between the rain, the cold and the snow, I didn't have a lot of choice. My second Pantera, a Big Block version broke ground today. I hovered my OS.61 powered Pantera in one of the aisles of our manufacturing plant after hours today. I was alone. The needles are set as if I were breaking in the engine as new (it is not) but it behaves well, starts easily and most importantly appears to be quite smooth with a pleasing tone (as much as a 2 stroke can). It required no trim adjustment and the blades are tracking perfectly first time out. I look forward to playing with the throttle/pitch curves, tidying up some wiring and getting outside when the weather cooperates a little better. Anyway, another Pantera is in the air. Pantera #3 is NIB and should be arriving anytime now. I think I'm going to use an OS .70 I have laying around for that one. That'll give me a 50, a 61 and then a 70 powered Pantera. Why you ask? Just because. These machines are sooo much fun!
