My local club is having a AMA Sanctioned pattern event in Lake City SC on April 19th and 20th, the field will be open just for practice (helis only) on Friday the 18th. $20 entry (does not include lunch, but will be served at the field if wanted) Below is a link to our web site for directions to the field.
Should have a great turn out as I have many confirmed.
All are welcome to watch and fly (AMA I, II, III, F3C of course)

I am very excited to attend this event, and meet everyone and competing with you all. Joe (friend and caller) and I may need some help and direction, as it will be my first contest (of many I hope). I hope you all wont mind the questions we may have for Class II.

I sure encourage anyone that ever just considered flying in a contest to come this event. We expect to have some world-class pilots attend, and then there's me

I will make a concerted effort to help the AMA guys as best I can. Don't you guys worry so much about the contest part, as having a good time and learning some great stuff. Think of this as a funfly with purposeful flying with balanced feedback of what your strengths and weaknesses are as a pilot and mechanic.

We identify the negative, but accentuate the positive.

You will come away with a new respect for flying and for yourself as a pilot, I guarantee it.

We will be at the field for last minute cleanup, lines, yada yada yada, starting at 10:00 A.M on Friday, the field is ONLY open to Helis starting on Friday. We have plenty of space for practice, back to back fields so all you guys can T & T.

Superb hosts.
Superb facilities and field with TWO flightlines.
And as usual, the greatest of friends in attendance.

Special thanks to Eric for spending time with me after the comp to aid in my training! Super guys, nothing but great things to say about all!!!!
