Some of you might be thinking why did he waste his money on that? Well, it actually flies very nice and flew great out of the box. I personally dont get why I was told not to buy this one. It had a run-in with my mailbox today at about 20 mph and all I had to do was replace with the extra ones it comes with. The blades tracked perfectly and the battery charges in almost 15 minutes. The only problem I had was with the crystal it came with. Replaced that with a spare set I had lying around and I had no more problems. Bang for the buck. The transmitter has a nice feel and the servos it comes with are very responsive. I truely am enjoying this little heli and would reccomend it to anyone who has some flight time under their belt. It flies like its on rails. And yes, it is CP.

I have a mod for the weak dampning. I took a bearing(2, one for each side)from a trex 450 washout arm and it fit perfectly. No more boom strikes.

The walkera 52 is an awesome heli wait till you do the brushless conversion and start doing some 3d with it. When I got mine all I could do was hover tail in and very little nose in now with my 52 I have learned inverted flight, loops, rolls, reverse flight.
Check out these vids from when I first started going inverted.

eggmcmuffinplz Where is southern california are you if you dont mind me asking?

Mods Medusa brushless main motor, minizoom wooden blades, gws tail motor everything else stock.

I am using the medusa 12mm 4000kv motor with a castle 10 esc I have tried several different motors the gunther, ammo, feigao, and the medusa is by far the strongest.

all the electronics radio, 4n1, servos are all stock the tail motor is a gws motor which is much better than the stock unit.

Well, it bogs itself to death just before it gets off the ground(there isnt too much pitch and its at 100% throttle with new motors.) and the tail wont hold at all

sounds like its too much pitch try turning the pitch links on the blade grip in to make them smaller to get less pitch do one turn on each side at a time then try if it gets better do one more turn and so on also check tracking
