Fantastic event, well planned

Just wanted to chime in with thanks to the Larks group for a great event. Each year it keeps getting better. My hat is off to Mike, Debbie and all the Larks crew for their over-the-top hospitality.

I wanted to add a special thanks to Curtis for his generosity and continued support for our hobby. I know he obviously now has a commercial vested interest, but he and his group go way out of their way to help and I know I'm not the only one who enjoyed all the free CYP goodies.

Oh....and then there was the weather, couldn't have ordered better

High gas prices don't hold a candle to the value of this event, congratulations Larks!

one thing i would like to suggest the dj was nice but most of the time the music was to loud to hear the motor,they need to keeps it down some.

but all in all a great funfly.....

Man, where do I start?

I got to do autos on Mark Spies Jetcopter friday. Totally wicked!

Peter Wales flew one really cool scale bird after another. His super coaxial "Blade CX SE Xtreme Pro" was really a mechanical marvel.

I got to run against CY and the new Rave in the drag races - how fun was that !!! Never done an 80mph touch and go before!

Shooting autos with Ron, Nathan and Duane and Jamie was way too fun.

Curtis and the new Rave was a great show. It was really fun to ogle and drool over the new Rave hardware. Jamie and Curtis had a blast with them.

Jamie Robertson put on one incredible show after another - some really incredible skills there.

Some crazy guy was doing inverted autos all the way onto the head button. Really fun to watch!

Saturday evening dinner was excellent. Sunday morning breakfast was great. The folks at Larks really know how to keep you fed for three great days.

Had fun night flying Saturday. Always a rush for me.

I got to do loads of great flying Sunday. One of those really laid back Sundays - until your buddy hands you an RJX to fly with an exploding tail LOL! Hope you get that fixed OK Gary!

To sum it up, it was one of the most memorable Mayday events - I thought about it all day today while it rained here. So many friends, such good times.

Really big congrats to the crew at Larks for the incredible hospitality!!

i would like to thank everybody for coming back this year to mayday. i think it was a sucsess.hopefully i can hang on to put another one on next year.it was ruff.im still recovering from the sun burn. just for the curtis boys i will try to hold a golf cart racing contest.and i will work on getting the sound right.thanks greg nettles

I forgot to mention how GREAT it was to see all the vendors there. If you couldn't find a part or custom canopy there for your Align or Synergy it was because they don't make it!

I really think vendors are a contributing factor to the success of a funfly. Lots of folks hit these events just to see the offerings. It's got to be a pain in the arse toting all that stuff around from event to event but it really adds to the atmosphere.

Job well done to all those folks.
