Henseleit 3DNT - Rocket - 3DMP > Purchasing a used 3DMP E (what needs to be checked or updated)

After a very long waite I'm purchasing my 1st 3DMP-E(used).
Anything I should check or upgrade? I have heard of people having tail bolt issues? Does this need to be fixed or upgraded in any way?
Any other issues to check?
Ps I just do mild 3D nothing radical. Thanks

The tail issues were mostly because of using CF tail blades with the stiff Henseleit tail. As long as you use plastic tail blades, you should be fine. I sent my Volz servos out for repair when I saw one of them fail on the bench while setting the heli up. Turns out Two of the three needed amp and the other needed a motor. This is common with Volz servos from what I understand and seems to be the only downfall of the 3DMP-E. (Volz specific servos only) Other than that, you will thoroughly enjoy this heli and Good luck to you...Ron

That is what I will be switching to soon. I just like the convenience of not having to charge two batteries....Ron

Is it possible to use a different servo besides the Volz?
