Does anyone know if metal upgrade parts are being produces for the Sceadu yet? If so who markets them and are they available in the USA?
Thanks,

Here is the official list of Sceadu Upgrade parts from Altech:
http://www.modelrec.com/catalog/mrc/index.jsp?cat=165 The question of wether these are available for purchase as of now is still a question. You might want to check with some US retailers to see if they have any ETA on these goodies.... Good luck!
Quick UK is working on some things. They have things availible already but they are not on the web site.
I'm sure many more items will become available soon. If you want to see all the mentioned items take a look at my home page, under sceadu. then upgrades. I have all kinds of pictures of these items.
Metal partsAll the upgrades are available now and can be ordered, dropped shipped, or shipped direct. Your choice, however, it is all available. Let me know what you are looking for.
Thanks

Radius block....Jeff,
How about a Metal Radius block and slide block. Or are these the same as the Freya EX ones?

That's what I was looking for(ie Slide block and radius block).
Thanks Jeff

Since the shaft on the Sceadu has that slotted portion for the radius block to grab a hold of, I'm not sure its necessary to use a metal one... That was the problem with the Freya, it would rotate...(something a shot of glue solved)

Actually it's the slide block I'm most interested in. I over tightened the mixing arm bolt and stripped one. Metal would stop this.

Awwwwwh....But Mike it looks soooo coool! LOL.
I don't like the nylon on that. I would think the metal would last longer and hold better. Don't want to have that sucker come loose in flight.
By the way did you get your DTS and Bearing block yet?
