im still to cheap to buy new main blades.
i tried to make em out of balsa and i think it was doug that said it wouldnt work, well he was right. too flexible even when coated in resin. so i did the stir stick method. thanx to free stir sticks from lowes and home depot. and super smooth and super free is the result. heres the pics for clicks.

the white blade is the still new one

and the lowes un modified counter part.
too much time on my hands huh?
yes i could have saved money if i just bought new ones but this is instant gratification.

I wish I was good at this

when I was buying eflite blades I would rebuild sand and fill and cover till the blades wore down to a nub. But now I dont crash much and at $9 I just dont take the time anymore. No offense ragtop not that you have too but I would be real impressed if you got some fiber and made your own CF blades. that would be instant gratification

oh BTW I used to be a cabinet maker so woodworking some pine blades was easy for me. I have a bunch of broken blades if you need the holders?

I have made my own Blades, I call them D-blades and they do work. I use 1 1/4 inch pine lattice from Home Depot but it's a ****load of work to get them right, perhaps not worth it, but it's Fun to try!

Well, If I get them perfect, I'll send you a set for free and you can be the first to try Carbon D-Blades. If they suck, I'm pretty sure you will tell me they SUCk !! But if they are Good you have to tell me they are good, Right ?????
