What are the choices for the above listed size for FAI blades?
I am currently running 710 Radix FAI Blades, they are great, but a tad close to the tail blades (95's)

No worries. With the RT720s, the Caliber actually puts the main blade tips above the tail blades. Just don't do any highspeed tailslides or other crazy stuff. Doing AMA class manuevers, you'd be hard pressed to cause a blade interaction. Heck, none of the F3C guys have issues either. See the pics below:

cool thanks,
Mine look the same.
They would hit, but as in your picture, it would almost hit the tail boom as well.

Erich,

Care to take that same pic with the 720's on your X-Spec/SSZIII?

Currently running the SAB Art.0205 blade (blue root/white tip) on a MA Pro2 with a Tempest head (extended to 90 size)for FAI flying, to great effect. They are 685mm long.

Available in a number of colour combos, have a look here and go to the Main Blades section.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit......

Steviewonder33, so far so good. It might take a day or two to reach your standard though lol

It seems to have liked the conversion from a 60 to a 90 but I am still finding my feet with some of the settings. It is good to see that each time it is flown it is getting noticably better. I just need the government to extend the weekend by at least a day and I will be laughing.

Anyway back to the thread....What blades are you using on your Sylphides and why did you choose those??

I'm using K&S blades, think they are 685mm.

I decided to use these because this is what the Jap pilots were using! It works for them............
