e-Gaui Hurricane 200 & 550 - EP100 > Hurricane 200 is anyone running the CNC boom mount?

For anyone running the CNC boom mount. Do I threadlock the boom holder screws? Since they are for adjustements, I'm woried they will strip if threadlocked, but worried they will be coming out if I don't threadlock them.

Use blue locktite and you should be able to remove the screws but they won't back out on their own. Blue is OK for most any screw on a little heli. Red is more permanent and can be really difficult to get out.

yes, but even blue is not so easy to get out, especially on those tiny little screws.

Your right. It can be a pain on small threads. I don't know of anything else that works but others may. Make sure you wipe most of the blue off. You just want it down in the threads - it doesn't take much.

Loctite also makes a purple for small screws.

where can you find purple? lowes or home depot have that? I only really use the loctite blue stick from lowes now, much easier than the messy liquid.

Probably have to go to industrial supply type place, or order online.

I used the blue, will let you know what happens when I have to disassemble. First flight was good. This bird is decent now. They never should have sold the Ep100SE. Complete junk IMHO.
