Hey, was that a MJ2 that was featured in "National Treasure"? It sure looked like one.

Maybe not. Someone else on the forum says it was a TRex. The guy is an amazing pilot, anyway. He doesn't even have to watch his heli while he flies it! Only in the movies!

I don't have any video. In the movie, the heli was being used to film the inscription on a small version of the Statue of Liberty that is in Paris, France. There was supposedly a clue to the treasure in the inscription. I could have sworn I saw "Joker" on the canopy, but it was only a brief shot.

Steve S.

It wasn't a Joker but it was a larger electric like a TREX 600.

A TREX 600 effectively as read on:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=791743
IMHO, Joker would be a better choice but..

I just saw this movie and I initially thought it was a Trex 600.
I agree though, a Joker would have been sweet!

I found it comical that a ticket was issued for the flight; go figure.

Joker size

"It wasn't a Joker but it was a larger electric like a TREX 600"

The Maxi joker is much larger than the Trex 600. They run 690-710mm blades. It is a .90 sized bird.

it was definitely a TRex600. I saw the "Align" etching on the tail boom when the guy was carrying it... right from the opening shot of that scene, I also immediately recognized the canopy profile of the heli.
