Anybody has compared different type of blades for the Beam?

I've been using the stock ones for a while now and can't say they are not good... I was just curious to try other brand as I have already been very suprised by only changing blades on a helicopter.

I think I'm about to order some radix 325mm blades just to try them out... I love them in the 600mm size... I guess it cannot be bad..

thanks for any input

My opinion is that the stock fibre glass main blades work best for Beam.

The Beam rotor head is pretty aggressive. However, the stock fibre glass main blades has a softer airfoil. This two factors combine to give the Beam a smooth hover and quick 3D response.

I'm using V-blades on both of mine. It has more pop than the stock ones, but the stock ones do fly well. Haven't tried Radix, but I will this weekend.

I'm also using Vblades on my Beam. Around 20grams each side.

The pop and cyclic respond is very good.

It's the stiffest 325mm blades around i believe ? hahas
