e-BEAM Beam E4 > Fly Bar Slop

Hi all Beam Lovers !!...

I do get a slight slop in my flybar and seesaw. I had to put a small washer between the flybar and the seesaw to prevent the slop.

Does anyone has this problem or any other better solution to it?

some shims will do.

If not just leave it, it still flies well =)

I suggest that you reassemble the flybar assembly again.
The screws may have loosen. Use a small amount of loctite to hold the screws in place.

I had no flybar slop to speak of. I am overall quite impressed by how well the build went.

I did have to add a shim between the bearings on the seesaw and washout arms so they wouldn't bind when screwing them on.

Other than that small adjustment, the fit and finish is top notch!

I had added a washer as shim between the seesaw and the flybar and the slob was gone. It flew perfect and the stickiness on the stick was gone !!

Did any of you guys have problem with corrosion on the main shaft?
Mine is corroding... never has this problem with my Rex.

The main shaft has 2 versions.
the One is the old version with glossy finsih and the other one is new version with black matt finish.
You may try new version which doesn't have any rust problem.

Fly high with dreams !!

I sprayed some WD40 on the main shaft to prevent corrosion.
