Which one did you get from readyheli.com... the 1000w or the 1500w?

I have the RCP 1100kv 1500w motor from them.

It is suppost to be basically the same exact motor as the Guai 1100kv 1500w motor... and it is hard on batteries.

I would not fly 2200s on it... it draws more amps than they can supply. I run 3200s 30c, 3400s 25c, and evolite 4250s 18c with it... and they do fine.

hi

the 1500 watt .. you run 2 -3200 packs or 2-3400's.. is their enough room for them? and how nose heavy does the heli get?

I have mainly run a set of FP 3s 3200 30c and a set of FP evolite 3s 4250 18c

I also have a 6s 3400 and a 5s 4000 that I recently got... but have not flown them yet... too cold here to fly these days. They do fit though.

I stack the 3s batts one on top of each other... and then mount them on the top batt tray... as far back to the motor as I can go.

The canopy (fiberglass) almost goes on A ok. The 2 top posts are fine... but it does not quite come down over the batts enough to allow me to catch the bottom post mount (1/2 " off). I use an elastic hair tie to secure it. It trully looks ok when you look at the canopy on the heli. You wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you.

The heli seems to be pretty well balanced. I haven't checked in a while, since originally setting it up (I have only flown this motor & bigger batts). A good 3D pilot friend really rung it out one day before Winter... he flew all the hard 3D moves no problem (on the 4250s). He liked it allot.

Thanks Randy!

We run a simular setup. Your stuff is nicer.

Along with the same batteries as you... I have the RCP 1100kv 1500w motor, Align 75a esc, and 500 RCP carbon blades.

I get around 6.5 min when putting back 2500ma... sport flying, no 3D.
