| The 430XL is 3700 KV. so it does spin a good bit faster.
No on the flat spot, I've never had one to slip. I do clean everything with brake cleaner, use the red loctite and torque it down pretty hard.
After getting my backlash set, I snug the screws down pretty good. Then I remove the motor mount, take one screw out, put locktite on it and tighten it down good, then take the other screw out, loctite it and tighten it down good. About the only way to realy tighten them down good in the frame it to use hex head screws (which are hard to find with the right threads for the motor) and a ball end allen or catch the head of the screws with a good pair of needle nose pliers and tighten them. I just prefer to remove the mount. |
