The wait is over: Advantage Hobby selected as exclusive BEAM Helicopters importer

Advantage Hobby announced officially today that they have acquired exclusive rights to market and distribute the complete lineup of BEAM helicopters and accessories for North America.

The Beam E4 was actually previewed at the 2007 IRCHA Jamboree, where it gained immediate attention for its outstanding design, and unmatched quality. Customers have been waiting anxiously since IRCHA for the E4 to be released in the states.
Now that Advantage Hobby has been selected, the BEAM E4 is available immediately with full parts and technical support to supply the demand for this exciting new product.

About the Beam E4

From the first CAD drawing, Beam engineers set out to design the E4 to be a stand alone design that was not just different, but better than the leading competitor both in design, quality and performance. A no holds barred, no options required approach was declared.

my beam is 846 grams rtf
my trex se v1 with same elec. set up is 836 grams. trex has plastic frame blocks. so they might end up the same if i put the alum. back on.

I'll reweigh, but I believe my Aluminum frame rex is about 760 rtf...

Mine is 647gr without battery and 821gr rtf

Don't have any rexxy to compare but performance wise, the weight does not seems to be any problem!

fwiw..

Just reweighed both of my 450 Rexes...Aluminum is 765.4 G; Carbon is 766.4G...Both with 175 G batts...880 G auw seems way off the mark...
Ther is nothing unusual with my Rexes, btw...HS65Mg. 401/9650 on Carbon, 2100/94761 HS65 mg on aluminum, 20G carbon blades on both.
