Naa, was just ranting guys, I think this little heli is way too cool to ditch. I'll be holding onto it. I really can't wait till the spring/summer gets here when its warm outside and the wind is not existant. I have been flying it outside in somewhat cramped spaces in somewhat windy conditions.

Although I will be watching my GIANTS win the Superbowl!

PS: I think your dead-on Jay, although the EP200 has been around a while, we seem to be on the forefront of whats going on with the Hurricane. Or, atleast thats what I have been reading.

here is a pic of the part I was looking for, although it only comes with one. you have to buy 2 of these in order to get both of the servo attach horns.

it is, but still has plastic ends which I'm not crazy about, especially since they aren't ball link ends but appear to be the same standard plastic ends used for the tail now that pop off if you breathe on them.

I think the microheli case is a better bet if they get it working correctly.

those tail units are sweet. btw, has anyone really had one of those links pop off? I have had the pivot ball pop off a few times but never one of the link ball links? even when they pivot past where they are supposed to be, they seem to hang on.

FYI

When I ordered my parts, I called and asked about the new woodies with the plastic roots, they aren't in yet. But Jon at RH says very soon!

cnc comparison

i only had my pitch control lever pop out of the ball link when my servo limits were set wrong... i just want it all metal... no slop... period.

so just by looking, both are full CNC, both have metal tail sliders, but the microheli tail does away with the ball link ends and is $10 cheaper, am I right?

you're right... they have done away with ball links on the blade grips in exchange for a fully locked in system... i have no issues there... i want this piece in metal... is that what i am seeing on the new one

pg[/PHOTO]

the new one also looks very precisely made... might not have to fiddle with it

this is my slider

I do not have the metal pitch arm. But the slider with balllinks works very very well, allows me to get enough pitch so the heli will not turn on hard climbs.

from what i understand, that one is complete cnc... except... you put your stock plastic arm back on the bottom... whats the point of going 95% of the way?
