does he have any friends that can get me in contact with him to see if he is going to be able to paint my stuff or send it back or give me my money back or something. I'm not bashing just would like to know something. he should be able to make contact some how, it is going on four to five months. maybe somebody could help him i know he's sick, but for example i have a disease called lupus, i get sick a lot. i own my mason company and I run about forty men at times. i have had a four wheeler crash that broke a lot of bones, cracked my skull open and about ripped my knee off and i could not walk for a long time. i have had a lot of surgeries and i have had my twin little girls die, but what im saying is business must go on and i always answered all ? and finished my work in a very timely fashion no matter what happens to me. mort i hope you get better soon and i hope you have a friend that would step up for you, i know i have payed my dues to many times to count in the friend department.

I have a friend who sent him a canopy like 6 months ago. The guy is VERY unreliable.

cdrking i really don't think he is trying to screw anybody

but i do think he takes on to much and then he gets sick with no help you got to have a back plan for times like these if your going to run a biz.

Mort isn't trying to screw anyone, he is having medical issues right now that are worse than what he was dealing with before.

I am sure that as soon as he is able to he will get the canopies done or make it right somehow.

Well I got my canopy from him about 2 weeks ago. Had to threaten with a charge back to get it. Don't like to do buisness that way but if you wait over 30 days you may not be able to get your credit card or pay pal to intervine. Sorry to hear he's in the hospital, but still he either needs to ship out the goods or refund the money. The whole ordeal was to much drama for me and although the work he did is quality I doubt I would do buisness with him again. Good luck.

well if you have that many canopies it needs to be a two man biz

i hear people having to wait up to a year but they got them.but waiting for a year come on that show you he did not grow with his company and if you could not keep up you should tell people that you will not get your canopies for a year that should catch him up fast because most of us fly weekly not yearly. Just think of how many canopies he has got and how much money he has gotten from people when he was not sick for the last year and this really sucks for peoples hard earned money and im sorry that he's sick but mort to have that many canopies it showed you do great work and when you get better get you some help make it grow with a back up plan.

I do not accept sickness, even death as acceptable for making people wait forever for something. Either shut the business down or set it up to run without you there. There is no middle ground - there are business ethics - not to mention legal liability issues concerned here.

I run my own business and trust me, I know how hard it is but I would shut my business down in a heartbeat if I could not deliver what I said I could deliver - on time!

I feel for all of you waiting on canopies, that just plain sucks....

That's totally unacceptable, immature, and unprofessional. People are always more important than things.

It's more for you to run your business than attend an urgent family matter? You think it's more important to ship your widgets on time than attend the birth of a child?

Sorry you folks are stuck waiting for your canopies, but if you had done you homework you would have learned that some vendors are able to turn- around canopies faster than others.

I got it back around 2 weeks or so ago. It took a few days to get here so figure he sent it to me about 3 weeks ago total. In fact I talked to him on a Mon morning and he said that UPS had it and was sending me a tracking number. I also remember he said something about going to the hospital but I thought maybe he was going to see someone. I used my debit card and pay-pal to cover the transaction. From order to item received time was 1 month. He had told me 2 weeks initally to paint it, and after 2 weeks we had a polite and to the point conversation. When it came down to the wire he delivered.

Never fly more that you can afford to crash!
