Yes, its scratch built.
The fuselage is Vario got it from WWW.variocanada.ca .
Heads: centery Hawk with 4mm flybar upgrade,600mm blades,
120 swash,10mm shafts. Motor AXI 4130-20,Phonix HV85,2-5-S
Thunder power 4500ma in series,whats up watt meter.Spektrem
DX7 2.4 GHZ. 6 Hitec HS-6635, Helitronix multi mixer S-E,
Vario bevil gears 10mm Pn #722/18,8mm jack shaft,90T main
gear with one way bearing from centrery predator,14T on the
motor,2-Futaba Gy240 gyros,1800 ma receiver battery,frames
3mm alm plate,1 1/2",1/8" wall alm tube between frames.

Between heads 1075mm-42 3/8",20lbs as you see it.
Lift off 18A at 1650 rpm from the basement floor because its
snowing like hell here in the great white north.Will send a
video as soon as we get a flight in.

That is some really nice work. I have one of these fuses and have been wanting to put some mechanics in them. Looks like you might have figured it out. Looks very promising. Keep us posted. I cant wait to see more.

What is the purpose of running 2 gyro's ??

It depends on you. A typical installation would use one gyro on the pitch axis, and optionally another gyro on the yaw axis, and optionally a third on the roll axis. In my tandem test bed, I was running 2 x 3 bladed heads with 3 gyros. This configuration provided very good stability.
