its in good shape, seems like everything there, need new canopy, would love to get my hands on a copy of the owners manuel, guy wantys to sell it, how much do i offer? can i find parts incase of a crash? thanks guys...

Schluter heliStar

Heu guy,
I am resurrecting a Schluter Twinstar with Helistar mechanics. I have the plans and some other documents for it that I could copy and send you if you'd like. That was my first REAL heli. I learned to fly with it and love it. Let me know.

oops,
forgot to answer some of the other questions:
I would probably not offer more than $150.00, others may disagree.
parts are limited but still available. I believe Paul(?) at HUI still stocks some parts.
the canopy is a mute issue. If I can find mine in the shed, I could give it to you as I will not need it any longer. Other canopies fit or can be made to fit.
It all depends if you want to pick up a project and challenge. The older birds seem to be picking up momemtum as I am hearing of more and more of them being reborn.

P.S. Let me know if you still want me to go to Fort Rucker and try to get you pictures of the D Model console and overhead. I may have to hang off the second floor balcony to accomplish it, but hey, I'm crazy like that.

I don't think they even have System 88 parts(Magic,Scout,Junoir).
