I finally got around to testing the latency of the CSM CycLock and here are the results...

In digital servo mode it adds approximately 5 ms on average to the signals coming from the receiver. In analog servo mode it adds approximately 8.5 ms on average to the signals coming from the receiver.

In other words, when a collective, aileron, or elevator command (change in pulse width) comes out the receiver, it adds about that much time before those inputs are fed to the servos. Given the tremendous CCPM performance, resolution increase, and adjustability the CycLock offers, it seems worth it.

Would you be so kind as to test the 9C in standard mixing? I am curious if purchasing a Cyclock would significantly speed up and fix the mixing issues I have been seeing? My Spectra G is no where as accurate as I want it to be. Funny, just about 6 months ago, I never would have noticed the interaction, now it upsets me greatly.

If you already tested the 9C in standard mixing, I must have missed it.

Nothing better than the smell of Camper Fuel in the morning.

James,
> Would you be so kind as to test the 9C in standard mixing?

I tested it in standard mixing but only in PPM mode for some reason. It is a good percentage faster (~ 30%) in standard swash mode (PPM standard vs PPM CCPM). The 9C in standard/normal swash mode plus the CycLock will definitely be faster than the 9C in CCPM swash mode and provide much better CCPM setup and operation capabilities.
