Now that you guys mention something. I do have a set of Cobra White powder coated frames. Any idea who they came from?

Powder coat? GMP? Huh?

I know you're pretty used to looking at Cobra frames but is it possible what you really have is X-Cell 60 frames? At a fast glance they look the same. Miniature provided white powder coat parts so you could assemble a complete X-Cell in white. Was very striking.

Sorry guys it's been a day or two, I will get some pics of the frames up as soon as I can find them. I just moved. but as I remember I can set them side by side and you can't tell the difference between them. So I do believe they are GMP Cobra frames.

You want to start or should I?

Hey JC,

Do you think we should start a fresh posting in the Main Discussion forum regarding VRCHS and asking for opinions on the group guidelines? I have limited creative imagination when it comes to stuff like this. What do you think?

I had some ideas when I first thought of this in my original post.

Why?

This was a great idea to post. Why did it just roll over and die? I don't usually read the general forum as there's too much to absorb. Maybe us 'oldie' flyers tend to hang around this watering hole and didn't see the posting of yours. We'll rectify this situation this year!

For the IRCHA gathering - will that be on Saturday? I should have the Revolution 40 hoverable by then. Might be worth a day-trip

hehe...funny you should mention that idea! I have been toying with the idea of throwing a cricket canopy, landing gear, and tail fins on a Trex 500!

Yeah! That would keep the magazine readers guessing, wouldn't it? I'm seriously thinking of inverting a Cricket. Would be a 'one flight deal' though. If you catch my meaning...

Don't know about "several minutes". I guess if the head speed is dropped way down the fall will slow also. Not my plan though.

Just got off the phone with Micheal Gorhman and he is going to try and be at IRCHA atleast one day this yr . as they heard about our oldies flyin ... he and a friend are also trying to get John to come along .... keep your fingers crossed ..this would be the icing on the cake .

He even talked about trying to get his Dad to fly some ... I offered my Bergen if he didn't have anything or they didn't find anything ..This would just be so ultra cool

Just to keep the interest going...

I have just completed restoring a Schluter Heli-Star that fellow RunRyder member Bladebuster was nice enough to part with.

Enjoy the pics!

Thanks Bladebuster!
