has anyone actually used the align pitch gauge that is linked above. I used a friends align pitch gauge, and it still was not small enough.

Is anyone using a pitch gauge?

Or just set it up for max throw, and lower it in the radio untill you don't hear any bogging on the motor?

You can fold some cardboard up put it in the align gauge, thats what I have been using. There is a micro gauge on helidirect.com that I understand fits these blades.

The Align works on the plastic blades fine, but the chord on the wood blades is a little less and leaves the pitch gauge a little sloppy on the blades. If you put the gauge on a bench, and where the two halves meet, run a hobby saw down it. it takes off enough to work with the wood blades also.

That's Micro one from helidirect don't work with EP1/200 blade. I tried on my friend. You need one of those old school weighted ones. Can't seem to find them any where.
