I talked to a friend who ended up going to the 2003 WRAM Show and he told me he bought a Quick 50 Helicopter! I told him that if I went along he wouldn't have bought it and then I explained and showed him all the bad reviews and/or experiences with it.

He was suprised and dissapointed that he bought it but didn't know. I told him about the previous reputation on the Quick 30's (I personally knew a guy who was so disgusted with it that he sold it for $150 after a week or two). I even showed him various websites where they talk about this kit (Quick 30).

Also whenever he would need parts for this kit he would be very limited where he could obtain them. And guess who he would have to deal with? And the kit still has no manual...but an included CD which is another negative.

Well he was smart enough to send it back for a refund. I am pleased because he wanted me to built it.

A guy who has a Fury and a Sceadu does not need a Quick!

<<...outperform...>>

Well, it's nice to start the day off with a good laugh.

If he stays with it, he'll learn that the machine isn't 'bad'; but it's daddy leaves something to be desired...

cut out the BS

Every heli out there has had it own problems. I have owned almost every heli out there at one time or the other. None have been perfect. You havn't seen me bashing a certain company just because there servo's have been failing and there heli's are over priced, but there radio's are kick butt.
The quick heli's have the best bang for the buck. I don't see any other heli on the market with that quality for the same amount of money. Please just get of the band wagon. It just amazes me that people are so negative about a heli they have never personally owned or flown for any period of time. And I will say a quick heli will outperform or perform as good as any other heli out there.
