I just got this bird used...Was hovering and noticed tail moving alot...The gearbox is loose....I do not see and visible connections except for a square box in front of it of the shaft that looks like it might have had some set screws in it,,,You guys with these will know what I'm talking about.. How do you hold the gear box still and what size bolts are required

Benzin TR Gearbox

The TR is held on by 3 M4 grub screws which are set at about 120deg around the 'tail rotor holder'

I've had this problem several times. Don't just re-tighten the grub screw, make sure to clean it with some alcohol then loctite. Just like paradox stated, 3 grub screws on the square part. You can also download the manual from the vario site.

If the driveshaft for the tail rotor is not cut to the proper length, this will also push the tail rotor out when flying, no matter how tight the grub screws are.

Exactly. And if this not happen , 100 percent you have vibration on tail.
