Has anyone used the HHI motor mount with a Neu 19xx motor? The Neu is 48mm (almost 2 inches) in diameter, would it fit?

I am using that motor mount with a Kontronic Tango motor which is 45.2mm and it is right upto thre edge of the mount so a 48mm will not fit in.

I can confirm it will not fit! Mount is 45.2mm when fitted.

How about the clearance around the motor? I suppose the 3mm difference can be made up with a bit of Dremel work..

but it won't help if it doesn't clear other parts...

Have a look in my gallery for pics of the mount. The HHI mount sides may be able to go on the outside of the shuttle frames and use longer bolts and shims or bushings to tie in the HHI motor plate. Its not ideal but I realy don't think you will get that motor and the HHI side brackets between the shuttle frames. It will look a bit like scafolding but I think it would work.
