James,

I know that rushed feeling too ,
Been there and done that, different reasons but same end result
Be glad that you helped someone that day and just put this mishap
as another notch on your experences of what not to do next time.
Distractions and such, affect my concentration on piloting my heli
let alone mech or radio probs.
Sometimes if I feel a bit stressed , I take a break, think about what's
going on, evaluate and go again.
There's times I'll pack up and call it a day early rather than push my
luck, especially If I've had a close call.
I get home and I'm happy to bring my heli's home in one piece, to fly
again another day
Well at least you mentioned you have other heli's to fly, that's great
hope the Vigor gets back up on it's skids soon.

First flight after a long (snow) down time...

I know the feeling. Last year I launched with NO screws in the servo arms..... LOL - came down after the throttle came loose and flew at full for a full tank, then IN A RUSH to get back up, I refueled, and took back off,,,, this time the aileron arm came off and it was a LOT more active than the throttle problem..... Oh well

YA Mike.... It's not easy keeping up with three to five heli.. And knowing what needs up-keep and what needs replacement But that not going to keep me frome GROWING (more heli)

Nice one..

Crashing suks!, But a least it is fun to look at the nice bends in the parts. I don't think I have EVER seen a mast bent quite that bad. I have a nice one out of my Freya with about a 20 deg bend in it and you have me beat.

Re-build and fly again.... Remember it is not a crash it is an "upgrade opportunity"
