I dont think you can change it. Or you would have to buy a stepdown if your ESC(BEC) has too high of a voltage.

[soapbox]

I am like a chameleon. I have been to most SoCal flying sites, but none of you could identify me. I have never flown at any of the standard group locations. I have visited many of the known and "secret" sites to watch and learn, about people and helis.

Because of where I have lived and played, when pictures are shown of the "PM me to get directions" location, I can often find the site that is being protected.

I watched and learned at Suzuki's 'Field', before the guys from up north started to visit.

Mostly, there was an age conflict potential.

I saw the conflicts coming, before they occured.

Everyone of you are cool, individually, but when the "group mentality" takes over, things begin to go south.

Chill, dudes, without preaching on the 'hobby' aspect of this all, what the phuk is the point?

If honest conflict needs to be dealt with, howsabout doing it out of sight?

We all have seemingly potent egos, but they don't always have to be displayed in public.

Screw around, have some fun, and mostly STFU rather than beating your chest online about companies and peoples. I have always gotten the best results by talking directly to the supplier, civilly.

Dudes, most conflicts are irrelevant and not worth it.

i haven't posted in our group much but ive been a busy person myself. heres my helicopter update if you will.

socal rotor challenge was awesome, lots of great pilots and a few new faces i got to meet. i also saw the new align 500. got to check it out in detail, talk to andy and see it fly. i will get one very soon.

the designer/builder of the scorpion motors has contacted me for the new prototype scorpion motors and esc to test. i flew victors and it was powerful but it is true that it is a power hungry motor. hopefully these new prototypes and escs will be alittle easier on the pack.

i flew this afternoon at the tijunga field. the grass has just been cut which is nice. i want to fly there as much as i can this 4 day holiday so long keep us posted on dates.

keep an eye out for santa ana winds this weekend.

happy flyings

Jason: I mentioned to Lucien that you would be a good person to test the Scorpion motors, or should I say "show them off".

For those dealing with cold virus, cyanne tea, as much cyanne as you can handle. It works.

I never get to the field to fly as early as I'd like, I'll try to make it earlier.

I do need at least 5 minutes of flight time. I heard that if you get the 2500mah EVO Lites you can pull alot more flight time. So, when I get my brand new EVO25 2170's replacement, I'm selling them, and getting the FP 2500mah packs. Though, not totally sure if the EVO Lites are better than the EVO25 2500mah packs. EVO Lites are 25 grams lighter, but the EVO25 produce more power.

I'll probably go for one pack of EVO Lites to see how they can handle my newly acquired MaDD 3Dz moves I do now!!!!

Yea, 50% cost. I emailed FlightPower the picture's of my two packs that were crashed on the ends with my info. They called me up, and I was able to order two new packs.
