I'm thinking about selling my Hurricane 200 because I keep having my problem! Until now it was a waste of my money. Sorry...

Tell me what I can do to help. We aren't exactly next door but what do you need?
PM me and lets talk about it.

Hi rstacy

Thanks you for your responce. In the meanwhile GAUI asked me to send the heli complete with electronics to GAUI so they can have a look at it. So, I send it to them. I must say, they are very helpfull! The thing is I do have experience with several heli's (especially T-Rex) but for some reason I cannot get the problem solved. A lot of other members on our club had a look at it.

The heli itself flies fine, but when I fly forward it flies forward left, when I fly backwards it flies backwards right. I know about the plastic between the ball links, those are removed and they move freely. I leveled the swashplate serveral times, I swapped servo's, I changed servo's. I switched from PCM to 2.4Ghz later, I tried another transmitter, nothing seemed to solve the problem. I even replaced the washout base, washout arms and serveral screws. We re-checked everything ones more. We think it might be something in the head. Maybe a bent feathering shaft or something, but I did have time to look at it.

But I like the heli very much. I was almost planning to buy just a new one and have this one as spare. You may call me crazy

It is if I need a feature like SWASH RING, you know that one? Turn the position clockwise. But my transmitter does not have that
feature. But I think GAUI will solve the problem.

anyone mounting the gy401 in the frame. How do you make adjustments? Do you have to pull it out every time?

I do the travel and direction set up before I install the gyro. All gain adjustments are made from the transmitter.

Stacy,

I have my gyro al little bit more forward in the frame as you have, a with a long or very short screewdriver I can do modifications. But I must add, I mounted my Rx on a mounting plate at the same spot that I can flap over.

I finally found the perfect setup for me for a strong tail hold.

I put my gyro 401 at the lipo place on the frame and then the tips is to place the lipo under the frame between the landing gear.

I fit a light canopy and i can put my lipo everywhere under the frame for a correct cg

I ran 38 % de gain on my Futabe FF7 radio with a 3154 and i'ts perfect

i can do some 3D. The Gaui lipo work very well, the blue hyperion 2s also and the mega power 2s work for light 3d

Dominic,

Interesting, I may try this.

My only concern is having that much weight really low in the heli, but I'll give it a go.
