| OK Ron, I know how to physically set up my Hacker into govenor mode, and the ESC will try to maintain the % throttle setting by raising or lowering the output power to cope with external demands on the rotor disk.
So if I just leave my throttle curve at (idle up 1) 0,40,80,90,100 at the hover the ESC should not try to power up my heli any faster than normal, but will try to maintain rotor RPM during flying. So I should not see a great difference for normal drifting around.
To make the most of the govenor I need to set my idle up 2 to 80,80,80,80,80 and then for any position of the pitch curve the ESC should try to maintain the same RPM, as I had in the normal (idle up 1) hover point. This switched after spool up.
I am still using the normal throttle curve, to slow start the rotor disc as previously discussed.
If I have interpreted correctly and my Hacker will allow different idle up positions I should be up and away. I will try it later this week and let you know.
