Thanks to Marc and Larry for all they've told me about my father and Robert.

I watched a DVD sent to me yesterday of the early days of GMP with a tear in my eye!

I just found out about Muncie in August and as I live down the road (relatively speaking) I will definitely be there.

Hopefully I will be able to talk Robert into going too as many, many people would love to see him again.

I'm working on it!

The picture is of a Cricket my father sent to me in England in 1982 which I built in a day with only the use of one arm!

The boy is my son John, who I also built with only the use of one arm.

I'm not sure which was the most difficult task!

Michael

Green Light!

Thank You IRCHA!!
2008 dates are SWEEEET! It no longer lands on my Wedding Anniversary. I am in there...... Yes I'm whipped. That's one date I don't mess with.
C-ya there!!!!! I'll probably be the only Raptor 50 flyer there but that's OK. I'm content with not having a 600N, for now.

Wheew!

Glad to see some other people weren't infected by that deadly "Align-itis" plague. Although I'll have to say they are pretty quick!

There will be plenty of raptor 50 flyers still there. I see no reason to go to the 600, I am sure it is a good helicopter one of my good friends flies one all the time at our local field. But I am satisfied with my Raptor and don't have to follow the crowd to something else just because it is new. I am just updating my raptor with a new engine and servos.

However one of these days I might get a 600 or maybe even a 500 like Jason Krause is flying to go along with my other helis

I am going to wait to register this time. Everyone who registered early last year got screwed. When they would pick a pilot number for a prize they were calling out numbers in the 400 to 650 range and I along with many others who pre registered well in advance with numbers in the 2 digit range were just forgotten. I'm not whining just venting

I will still be there this year none the less.

Problems getting registered

RjX of USA has contacted Dave to get registered for the IRCHA 2008 event, He has been contacted via Phone, and email and I spoke to him about getting the proper info to register and he said it would be taken care of, and sent out to us via email, Well, now it's been another three weeks and have we still havn't heard anything about the info, please contact us as we do want to attend.
Things seem to really be changing over there at the Ircha borad hope it ends up helping and not hurting.

You're getting one great 4-day party, with a T-sirt and a meal. The Boy Scouts do a great job of providing good food at very inexpensive prices. Been to a ball game or NASCAR event lately?

I'll be there with my 2 Rex's. This will be my first big event, so I'm looking forward to it. Already made reservations at the hotel, and pre-registerd last night, so I'm set to go! The best part is that it's only about a 4 hour drive from home!
