Hey guys I was wondering since I do not know how to hover yet would it be alright if I put no pitch on my blades and ran my throttle hi and low till it is broken in.

Better to get some training gear, and then you can put normal pitch, and get it to where it is just "light on the skids" That will put a load on the engine for break in, and will let you get the feel of the sticks while just puttering around...

Even if you aim to have no collective or cyclic pitch available you're likely to actually get a bit of both by accident and without control there may well be b****r all you can do about it when your pride and joy tips over...
If you really want to run-in the engine on the ground it's probably best to use some head loaders which are designed for the job, but most people just go easy on the new engine by running it rich for its early days and not making it work too hard.

If you run the motor over 1/4 throttle without a load you'll blow it up. Put the blades on, run the motor rich and just practice trying to hover, after a couple of tanks the motor will be all broken in and nice.
