Does anyone have any pics on what the new gohbee stinger 50 canopies will look like, and if gohbee will continue to make and sell the existing canopy. Thanks

If you're refering to the new canopy that we're coming out with....

Take a look at the "Coming soon....Phazor 600" thread. You'll see some pics of the machine with the new canopy. This canopy is compatible with our Stinger 30/50's. Naturally as a result it is also compatible with the Raptor 30/50's. We like it because it has a very narrow profile.....

We have discontinued our trusty 30/50 size Fiberglass canopies and will be replacing the old design for the new one mentioned above.

We hope to release these canopies very soon.....actually before we release the Phazor 600....

Are the new canopies like the ones shown on page 1 or page 3 going to be the new Stinger 50 style. I like the ones shown on page one alot better than page 3. Thanks

Cool. What other canopies will be a direct fit on the stinger 50 just to have a few more options. I like it but not my fav. Also will the stinger 60 canopy fit as it lookes like the older style 50 canopy. I was tossed up between the trex 600n or the stinger 50. I will 99percent most likely be getting the stinger 50 and trying to plan what I want for it ahead of time. Would you go with the 401 or the new jr g770. Thanks for putting up with me.

Any Raptor or Aftermarket canopy that fits a Raptor will fit the Stinger 50. One thing worth noting is that Raptor and old style Stinger 50 canopies will not fit on the soon to be released Phazor 600 (electric version). We have not made that determination on the nitro version yet (Stinger 600) However, keep in mind that new canopy is backward compatible.

Yes there have been folks who've modified and fitted the Stinger 60/90 fiberglass canopy on their 50 size machines. All you have to is to re-drill the canopy "ears" to match the standoffs and dremel a little clearance around the swash linkages.

IMHO, go with the 401 if the G770 is not in your budget. However, my thought is that the G770 is the best gyro for the money currently on the market.
