Since I got the barebones kit, I had no problem with the tail slipping off the guide. Now I am. I had a little mishap where I accidentally touch the throttle while working on the tail. Broken parts = Main gear. I was able to put in a new gear without having to remove the sharft. Tight squeeze but got it done. The tension on the belt is also good. Any suggestions on how to fix this? By the way the guide is the one on the left (tail facing you).

that is a common problem on the hbk2 , to fix it just put a few drops or some spray silicone on the belt and drive parts , it fixed my problemon all 3 of my kings . my local hobby shop gave me some , a little gose a long way .

You might want to try flipping the guide rollers. That way the larger-diameter end will be at the bottom and will keep the belt from slipping. Actually, you need to flip only the left hand side roller. It worked wonders for me. Never had a belt slip in over a hundred flights since.
