XLE's...

Do they only make these helis once a year?

Man, as much as I crash it sounds like I'd get a month or 2 of flying and then have to wait the rest of the year for parts????????

NO THANKS!!!

I know the 3d's are nice but parts availability must be tough!

NOPE! There is a law in Germany that makes ANY manufacturer have the ability to supply the customer with spare parts for 10 years after the LAST unit is made. The parts are easy to get, it's the kits that are hard to get your hands on! So unlike your awesome Roxxers, when Jan decides to stop making the 3DMPXL-E, I will still be able to get parts for 10 years! Besides, Revolutionmodels.uk has all of the parts in stock....Ron

Ron...you may want to take that foot of yours out of your mouth now...Where do you think the Roxxters are made?

let me give you a guess...it begins with GER and ends with Many...

dude...you need to do your homework before you try to bash or sound smart...

Looks like both of us will be able get parts for at least 10 years..EXCEPT I will be able to buy my parts in the USA and not from a UK based Company..

Actually I didn't know..

But I do know that getting parts for the 3dmp's requires getting them from the UK...

If I could get the parts in the US I would have bought a 3dmp a long time ago...after all...they aren't any more expensive than my roxxters...it's all about the parts availability for me..

See for yourself..

1575$ gets you a roxxter 55 airframe and motor..

They are still only 3 days away though. I can't seem to get parts for my Logo from Cali in three days!
If I couldn't get my hands on the 3DMPXL-E, the Roxxer55 was next!....Ron

3dmp's

One of these days I will buy one of these beauties...they are just so damn cool looking!

But for right now..the whole buying parts in the UK thing scares me..

If the right deal comes my way though I will definitely scoop one up...I was just crusing the revolution website...looks like the costof the kits is not all that bad either...I think I'd like to get a nitro 90 sized one myself...

IMHO, David at Revolution Models (UK) is one of the best rc shop owner ever: good service, good prices, fast shipping.
I'am in Canada and it is almost the same shipping fees from US to Montreal vs London to Montreal.
I received my first whole 3dmp kit from him using Fedex overnight for 50$ shipping cost... When he ship with regular air mail (small package), it takes under 1 weeks for approximatively 10-15$.

You can also buy parts and kits directly from Jan in Germany.

I was apprehensive about getting parts from the UK as well (I'm in California), but I was amazed to see that it only took 3 days from the time I ordered to receive the parts. If you think about it, since not many people own henseleits, there really aren't any supply issues.

So, crash on Sunday, order on Sunday night (it's already Monday in the UK), in my mailbox by Thursday, rebuild Friday, fly Saturday. Repeat.

I haven't put mine in the ground yet (knock on wood), but I did order spare parts ahead of time.
