Hi all,
I have a 9Z WC that I bought about 2 years ago. At the time, there were reports of the synthesized receivers getting hit by radios on frequencies near the one you were flying.

I also heard the problem was corrected, does anyone know how to identify the bad receivers, or is this just no true?

FWIW, I've been using 149DP's and changing channels on the transmitter without problem, but I want to start using synthesized receivers for the funflys, etc.

Thanks,

Mike...

They did fix it and they also changed the way the selector dials work. The microprocessor now reads the dials and stores it in memory so even if the dials give a false readout due to vibration the microprocessor pays attention to the memorized values and not any false dial readings.
I have all my helis with synth receivers now and no problems whatsoever.

i have had my 9ch z w/synth since 94 and never had a glitch with the 309dp reciever on it's own ... I can say once had someone turn on their radio by accident and it did get a hit there, was able to land safely from about 15ft height .. it is a reliable reciever, I'm on the lower end of the freq numbers too ..
