How does the OS46 perform in the Sceadu 50?

Any pros or cons?

OS 46.....

Jeff,
I would say if you happen to have a GOOD running OS 46 it would work. You wouldn't be taking advantage of the full potential of the heli, but it would fly.
Pros:
You can pick up a 46 for cheap. OS discontinued them to my knowledge lots of New old stock.
More fuel efficent than the 50. Not by much
Less power so you could run the 570's that Hirobo has in the original kits without overspeeding
Cons:
Horrible carb on most 46's
Less power than the 50
Couldn't in my opinion run the 600's well. The airframe is larger than most of the 30 upgraded birds. Of course the Ergo ran them with the 46?

I had an OS 46 and could never get it to work well for me. I upgraded (big time) to the OS 50.
I would put the 50 in from the get go.

If you already have an OS46 then run it with the Sceadu. If not I'd go for the OS50 for the ultimate power machine.
I have seen the Raptor running with the 46 fine at my local field, however I trully love the power of the OS50 in my Sceadu.

As stated by the above, the carb on the 46 was a problem. If it is a newer 46 with a 2 cast into the throttle body, it has the upgraded throttle body and should have a reasonable midrange. If not, a new throttle body is available for around $30. The 50 is much easier to tune and produces more HP and torque, but is also considerably more expensive, and at the moment, somewhat hard to get.
