| Bah, it's not that hard. You should do some more research before you write it off completely..
Besides installing the gyro component(s), you only need to do 3 things.
1: Remove the flybar mechanics and link the swash directly to the grips.
2: Use a swash driver, this keeps the upper swashring in correct phase. This can be done by modifying the washout base to clamp onto the main shaft by itself, or just buy a swash driver from Vario.
3: Reduce mechanical throws roughly 50% since the flybar is gone. This is most easily done by using shorter servo horns, but the preferred method is to us extended grip arms.
That's pretty much it. Its harder to tune the software than it is to change the head, and there will never be an "all in one" kit. There's too many variables to tune for. This is the same reason gyros need so much adjustability, there's too many parameters to make a unit that's already set up perfectly. At most, someone may eventually release a T-Rex 600 flybarless head, but since it uses a standard 10mm shaft, you could use any number of heads based on a 10mm shaft, including the Mikado V-Bar head. These "purpose built" heads aren't necessary, but they do look cleaner.
