Beginners Corner > Check your blade balancer before checking your blades..

This is just a quick tip for those newbies who are going to be balancing their main blades. Make sure the balancer you are going to use is balanced itself before using it. You might think that the brand new blade balancer you just bought has surely been balanced by the factory. This is not always true. I have a Revolution teeter-totter balancer and I assumed it was balanced till I checked it the other night. It was not even close. So I ended up removing material from the heavy end with a drill till it balanced out.
Now to recheck all my blades.

Yeah it does have a bubble level but there is no way adjust the balance except for the way I did it. It works fine now but I can't wait till my High Point balancer comes in.

David's right. The Koll rotor pro is the best available. You want have to worry about anything. It is perfect right out of the box, I suggest that anybody that is going to balance their own blades have one. It is easy and always accurate.

Koll Rotor Pro

The Koll Rotor Pro sounds like the way to go. Where can I get one on the internet? Thanks
